Welcome to Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) at Penn State, Detachment 720, recipient of the 2008 High Flight Award #1 large Detachment in the Northeast Region. We would like to invite you to attend the New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) at University Park Campus from Thursday 22 August to Friday 23 August. Depending on interest, cadets attending the Altoona Campus will have a separate NSOP on Saturday 24 August. NSOP is a cadet and cadre run event designed to welcome new students to the ROTC Program. This 1 or 2 day program depending on campus attending, will familiarize new cadets with the basics of AFROTC, the Penn State Campus, and student life. Most importantly, it provides an opportunity for students and parents to see what our program is all about and facilitate the transition into college and ROTC.

The tabs listed at the top of the page are numbered, please move through them in order, carefully reading and completing all the required steps. Pay specific attention to the Forms tabs, as these items are required for participation in NSOP. Do not hesitate to contact us with questions.
